Jeremy L. Lau serves as the CEO of Prudent Investors. He frequently speaks on investment management and financial planning to professional fiduciaries and trust and estate attorneys around the country. Jeremy regularly advises fiduciaries on managing their clients’ assets and financial planning needs and also works with estate litigators as a financial expert witness. Before Prudent Investors he worked in senior roles in the investment banking industry in Tokyo and Hong Kong. He graduated in Accounting from Brigham Young University and has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations.
Ted Ong specializes in retirement, fiduciary, and estate planning. He is a nationally recognized expert on the Uniform Prudent Investor Act and has been an investment professional since 1983. He teaches the online Management of the Investment Portfolio class offered by California State University at Fullerton’s Trustee Certification Curriculum and has taught numerous fiduciary investment classes. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford and an MBA from Brigham Young University.
Jared Ong oversees portfolio management, trading and technology. He previously worked at the Capital Group as a business systems analyst where he was integral in improving the trade operations group’s equity, fixed income, and foreign exchange trade processes. A graduate from Brigham Young University, Jared holds a Bachelors in Music and has obtained his CFP® certification. In his spare time, he enjoys composing and arranging music.
Nguyen Vu serves as VP of Client Services with Prudent Investors. Prior to his current role, he worked with Professional Fiduciaries Association of California (PFAC). Vu has extensive experience with a fascinating background in highly creative roles with Oakley, Restoration Hardware, and Stacy Dukes Design.
Vu has worked across major areas around the globe including Miami, Verona, Republic of Georgia and Belarus. He also spent five years in Beijing in international business development with a privately owned Chinese corporation and was instrumental in negotiating large trade agreements for mass deliveries of locomotives and railway cars.
Kellie Collier leads Prudent Investor’s digital marketing efforts. Prior to joining Prudent Investors, Kellie spent the majority of her career in the healthcare industry, managing the strategic and tactical marketing of a national pharmacy.
She holds a Bachelors of Science in Business from the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth. When Kellie is not curating content for Prudent Investors, she can be found spending quality time with her two young boys and husband in Massachusetts.
